Bindaas is a family drama. Shakti (Amit Tiwari) and his wife Maithili (Tara Chowdhary) are the ultimate Bengali couple. They have no children, but they love their friends' kids as if they were their own. They have a houseful of guests, laughter all around and delicious food on the table. But Shakti's death shatters everything... Maithili has to navigate this new world on her own, without any help from anyone else. Her only choice is to stay back in her parents' village with her sister-in-law Shalu (Nishi Tiwari), who left them long ago to escape an abusive marriage.
